My wife and I just purchased our 4th Hyundai (2014 Sonata Limited) from Fernelius Hyundai in the Soo. We have purchased three of our cars from this dealership.(2006 Sonata GLS,2008 Santa Fe). My wife and I buy Hyundai cars of the WARRANTY that comes with the car. The big three and other foreign imports only offer 3 years, it appears they do not have much faith in their product, but charge big bucks for them. Hyundai cars are made in Mobile& Montgomery AL in the USA. By buying a Hyundai we are supporting over 7000 Americans who work and build these cars.
I can speak with pride of the service I have received from Wayne in the service dept. He has always taken great care in seeing any problems or recall is taken care of right away. We live 135 miles from SSM, and when I had a problem with the 2006 Sonata, Fernelius sent down a man with a new car for us to use and took our car back,got it fixed and returned it washed and full of gas. YOU CANNOT GET THAT KIND OF SERVICE anywhere in the U.P.
Do you know the word "hyundai" means "modern". Each car we have owned has been strong, handles Michigan snowfalls and I have never gotten stuck with front wheel drive. We live off 5 miles of gravel county road here in Thompson,MI.
Newell is the car manager and he has always gone out of his way to get us the lowest finance when purchasing a car. He rides herd on the salesman and make sure they offer you the most help possible. Please give them a chance to impress you, anytime you have service, Hyundai sends you a survey about how you were treated, the work done and if you satisfied. If the dealership does not get a "10", then Hyundai will investigate as to why. You cannot lose with Fernelius.

There was no pressure to buy and I was even able to take the vehicle overnight to try it out prior to buying. Newell gave me every available option and was very honest about pricing and options. Had the misfortune of breaking the mirror on my car. Called them up and they had it fixed lickety split! Very clean and we'll kept facility. They have the best waiting area in town, hands down. You can wait for your car and be very comfortable. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. Both family cars have come from there, and so will the next ones as well!! Service dept.
